The presence we bring to a situation determines what we create in it.
That’s the power we have in each moment. That’s the fine art of bringing intention to our presence.
What do you want to create in this moment? What are you committed to?
“What’s most personal is most universal”
– Carl R. Rogers
When we are deep in difficulties, the biggest, often most challenging work is clarifying ourselves in it. We might feel numb, disconnected from ourselves, emotionally overwhelmed or feeling limited by well-known patterns and dynamics.
Most difficulties in relationships arise because the quality of communication is affected, and most of that is due to the fact that we aren’t clear and integrated in ourselves.
Clarifying yourself is a path of exploring your needs and wants, your growth edges and what is possible in the context you are in. We can begin the work of building new capacities to bring that clarity in mindful and effective ways and create the transformation you desire walking right through the fire.
This work is potent whether or not the other party wants to engage. Often conflicts are transformed by one party making new choices about how they relate and respond, certainly the most powerful way to “use” a difficult situation for one’s own growth. I support you to lean in and stay, even in the most difficult situations, and be an instrument of what you want to see happening.
Know yourself in profoundly new ways, grow into your next stage of being, and strengthen your capacity to be with disturbance and conflict.
Your struggles are the soil for that. Get to where intensity can grow you, I´ll support you all the way.
“Perhaps all the dragons in our lives are princesses
who are only waiting to see us act, just once, with beauty and courage.
Perhaps everything that frightens us is, in its deepest essence,
something helpless that wants our love.”
— Rainer Maria Rilke
